At Neftaly, we recognize the foundational role that parents and parental figures play in shaping individuals, families, and communities. As part of our commitment to social cohesion, family empowerment, and positive values, all participants are required to demonstrate a clear message or activity that celebrates, honors, or acknowledges the importance of parents and parental figures.
This criterion is mandatory for every individual or group engaging with Neftaly, and may be expressed in a variety of meaningful ways.

What Participants Must Do
All participants must create, present, or engage in a message or activity*that clearly reflects appreciation for parents or parental figures. This can take various forms depending on the nature of the Neftaly program and the profile of the participant.
Examples of Acceptable Messages or Activities Include:
1. Creative Expression
Writing a letter, poem, or essay dedicated to a parent or guardian.
Creating artwork, music, or video tributes expressing gratitude to parental figures.
Developing a short drama, dance, or spoken word performance themed around parental love, sacrifice, and support.
2. Community and Family-Based Activities
Organizing or participating in a community dialogue or seminar on the role of parenting in society.
Hosting a “Thank You Parents” event at school, church, or within a local community group.
Volunteering time with families in need or offering support to single parents and caregivers.
3. Educational or Advocacy Actions
Delivering a presentation or speech on the importance of positive parenting.
Participating in or initiating campaigns that support parental involvement in education, health, or child development.
Creating awareness materials (posters, infographics, social media content) that uplift the status of parents.
Submission and Assessment
Each participant or group must submit evidence of their activity or message (e.g., photos, videos, written content, attendance records).
Activities may be showcased during Neftaly events, campaigns, or digital platforms to inspire others.
Neftaly facilitators or mentors will assess submissions based on creativity, clarity, impact, and alignment with the theme of celebrating parents.
Inclusion and Diversity
Neftaly acknowledges that parental figures can take many forms — biological parents, grandparents, guardians, adoptive parents, older siblings, mentors, and others who play nurturing and guiding roles. All expressions of gratitude and recognition are welcome, regardless of family structure or cultural background.
