Position Summary
The Employee Engagement Manager at Neftaly is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies that encourage and sustain employee participation in the company’s Sustainable Travel Program. This role is crucial in fostering a culture of environmental responsibility by effectively engaging employees, raising awareness about sustainable travel options, and motivating behavioral change through targeted campaigns and interactive initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop Strategic Communication Plans
- Design and implement communication strategies tailored to different employee segments to increase awareness and participation in sustainable travel initiatives.
- Create clear, compelling messaging that highlights the benefits of sustainable travel for employees, the company, and the environment.
- Ensure all communications align with Neftaly’s brand voice and sustainability goals.
2. Employee Outreach and Engagement
- Plan and execute multi-channel campaigns (email, intranet, social media, webinars, posters, and events) to promote sustainable travel options and program updates.
- Organize workshops, training sessions, and interactive activities that educate employees on how to make greener travel choices.
- Develop engaging content such as newsletters, success stories, FAQs, and testimonials to maintain momentum and foster pride in the program.
3. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams
- Work closely with the Sustainability Program Manager, Travel Coordinator, and Data Analysts to ensure communication efforts are supported by up-to-date program insights and data.
- Partner with HR, Marketing, and IT to leverage internal communication channels and tools effectively.
- Support leadership communications to reinforce the company’s commitment to sustainable travel and encourage executive sponsorship.
4. Monitor Engagement and Feedback
- Track participation rates, open and click-through rates, and other relevant metrics to measure the effectiveness of communication campaigns.
- Gather employee feedback through surveys, focus groups, and informal channels to identify barriers, motivations, and opportunities for improving engagement.
- Use data-driven insights to refine messaging, channels, and engagement tactics continuously.
5. Recognize and Reward Participation
- Develop recognition programs and incentives that celebrate employees and teams demonstrating exemplary commitment to sustainable travel.
- Highlight success stories and best practices to inspire broader adoption and create a sense of community around sustainability goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Human Resources, Environmental Studies, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in employee engagement, internal communications, or sustainability program support.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging and persuasive messages.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Experience using digital communication tools and platforms (e.g., email marketing software, intranet, collaboration tools).
