Whether you are an individual working quietly to help your neighbors or an established organization running impactful programs, you are eligible to enter if your work reflects the spirit of Ubuntu, service, empowerment, and transformation.

    Participation is open to the following groups:

    1. Individuals

    People from all walks of life, aged 16 and older
    Community volunteers, educators, healthcare workers, activists, or mentors
    Individuals who are making a tangible difference at a grassroots or broader level
    Those who work informally or without funding but demonstrate measurable impact

    Entrants (individuals or groups) must meet at least one of the following:

    Entry is free of charge
    Both self-nominations and third-party nominations are accepted
    There is no restriction on geographical location, as long as the project or impact area is within Africa or connected to Neftaly regions
    Previous nominees and participants may re-enter if they have new accomplishments or continued contributions

    To enter or nominate someone, you may be asked to provide:

    Completed entry/nomination form (available online)
    Short biography of the individual or organization (100–200 words)
    A motivation letter or statement (300–500 words) explaining the impact and alignment with Mandela’s values
