The Neftaly Event Coordinator is a dynamic and strategic individual responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and successful execution of events that align with Neftaly’s mission and objectives. This role involves managing all stages of the event lifecycle—from concept development to post-event evaluation—while ensuring that every event delivers impact, engagement, and operational excellence.
Whether it’s a training workshop, a community outreach program, a skills fair, a youth conference, or a fundraising gala, the Event Coordinator is the driving force behind the scenes, ensuring seamless delivery and memorable experiences.
Key Responsibilities
1. Event Planning and Strategy
- Define the event’s purpose, objectives, target audience, and expected outcomes in line with Neftaly’s goals.
- Develop a comprehensive event plan and timeline, including key milestones, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Determine event format (virtual, hybrid, or in-person), venue/location, and scope based on needs and budget.
2. Budgeting and Resource Management
- Prepare and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and accountability.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality.
- Source and negotiate with vendors (caterers, equipment suppliers, venues, decorators, etc.) to secure services at favorable terms.
3. Coordination of Logistics
- Handle all event logistics, including venue booking, permits, equipment rentals, travel arrangements, guest accommodations, and security.
- Develop floor plans, set-up schedules, registration processes, and contingency plans.
- Oversee technical requirements (sound, lighting, internet access, virtual streaming tools, etc.).
4. Team Leadership and Collaboration
- Assemble and lead an event planning team or task force, delegating responsibilities effectively.

- Serve as the main point of contact on the event day.
