2. Objective
The purpose of this session was to assist participants in understanding how to write and prepare their Week 1 minutes and reports for the Neftaly Public Service Campaign Competition.
3. Overview of the Campaign
- Campaign Title: Neftaly Public Service Campaign Competition
- Submission Deadline: 26 November 2025
- Theme: Identify, Understand, Solve, Inspire, and Change
4. Weekly Focus: Week 1 – Identifying Community Problems
Participants were guided on how to complete their Week 1 tasks, which focus on identifying key problems within their communities through observation, discussion, and documentation.
Week 1 Tasks
- Identify the problems in your community (minimum of 8 pictures).
- Capture issues that affect your area through photos and videos.
- Select specific problems to focus on for your campaign.
- Share your ideas and potential solutions.
- Write a short statement explaining:
- What the problem is.
- Where it happens.
- Why it matters.
- Compile all work in a PDF document.
- Prepare a short presentation (3–5 minutes) using PowerPoint.
- Conduct short interviews with 3–5 community members to gather opinions about the identified problem.

Participants were guided on how to structure their weekly report:

7. Closing
The facilitator, Mr. Daniel Makano, emphasized the importance of teamwork, creativity, and community engagement in developing impactful campaigns. Participants were encouraged to submit all Week 1 materials on time and maintain clear documentation for assessment.
