Neftaly Training Requirements for Ethical Volunteering
At Neftaly, we believe that volunteering is not just about giving time — it’s about giving responsibly. To ensure our volunteers serve with integrity, respect, and accountability, all prospective and active volunteers must complete our Ethical Volunteering Training.

Training Overview
Our training is mandatory and must be completed prior to placement. It includes the following core components:

- Neftaly’s values and ethical principles
- Maintaining professional boundaries

3. Child & Vulnerable Adult Protection
- Identifying and responding to signs of abuse
- Reporting procedures
- Working responsibly around minors
4. Sustainable Development Principles
- Volunteering that supports long-term goals
- Avoiding dependency and disruption
- Supporting local leadership and initiatives
5. Volunteer Responsibilities
- Time commitment and reliability

- Personal safety protocols

Training Format
- Online Modules (self-paced, accessible 24/7)

- Ongoing Reflection & Supervision during placements
Certification Requirements
To be certified for Neftaly volunteer work, you must:
- Complete all modules and workshops
- Pass the final ethics and conduct assessment (minimum 80%)
- Sign the Neftaly Volunteer Code of Ethics Agreement
