    1. Overview

    On 15 August 2023, Neftaly, in partnership with the Gauteng Department of Social Development, successfully delivered nutritious daily meals to 03 beneficiaries in the Diepsloot community. This ongoing initiative is part of Neftaly’s broader goal to combat food insecurity and support vulnerable populations with basic nutritional needs.

    • To provide nutritious, well-balanced meals to individuals in need
    • To reduce hunger and contribute to improved health outcomes
    • To restore dignity through reliable, respectful food support
    • To strengthen collaborative efforts in addressing food poverty
    • To encourage continued engagement in Neftaly’s other developmental programs

    3. Meal Content Provided

    The meals provided on the day included:

    • Main Meal: Samp and beans with beef stew
    • Side: Seasonal fruit (apple)
    • Beverage: Clean bottled water

    All meals were prepared according to recommended health and nutritional standards to support general well-being.

    1. Overview

    On 26 January 2024, Neftaly, in partnership with the Gauteng Department of Social Development, successfully delivered a full-day ICT Basic Skills training session to 3 participants. This initiative forms part of Neftaly’s ongoing commitment to empowering individuals with essential digital skills that foster economic participation and personal development.


    2. Objectives of the Training

    • To introduce participants to basic Information and Communication Technology (ICT) concepts
    • To develop digital literacy and foundational computer usage skills
    • To enhance employability by equipping participants with practical digital competencies
    • To strengthen collaborative partnerships for inclusive skills development

    3. Training Content Covered

    The session focused on the following ICT fundamentals:

    • Introduction to ICT: Understanding hardware, software, and the impact of ICT in everyday life
    • Basic Computer Operations: Using the keyboard, mouse, and navigating the desktop environment
    • Microsoft Office Basics: Introduction to Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Internet and Email Use: Accessing the web, using search engines, and creating/managing email accounts
    • Digital Communication: Effective and appropriate use of email, messaging platforms, and other online tools
