1. Overview
On 23 July 2020, Neftaly, in partnership with Modular Mining, successfully conducted a Web Design training session for 24 participants in Diepsloot. The program aimed to equip participants with practical web design skills, enhance digital literacy, and foster creativity for potential employment or entrepreneurship opportunities in the digital space.
2. Objectives of the Training
- To introduce participants to web design principles and best practices
- To build skills in creating functional and visually appealing web pages
- To enhance employability and entrepreneurial potential through ICT competency
- To encourage problem-solving, creativity, and digital innovation
- To strengthen collaborative learning and peer-to-peer knowledge sharing

The session included the following topics:
- Introduction to Web Design: Understanding layout, color theory, typography, and user experience
- HTML and CSS Basics: Creating structured and styled web pages
- Web Design Tools: Overview of editors and design software
- Practical Exercises: Hands-on creation of sample web pages
